On Wednesday, September 28, students walked into the lunchroom to find seating organized by their birthdays. When the students sat down they were to get out the included bingo sheets as an ice-breaker to get to know the new people at their table. Then after the students called bingo they received candy, which the staff and parents passed out.
Ms. Clower and some office staff put together Mix it Up at Lunch to get the students out their comfort zone. One student, 6th grade C-house, said that it was a great experience for him to meet new people. Students also found that many people have the same interests as them. They also have the some differences but were still able to hang out with and get to know each other. Did you make a new friend?
