HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE

By Emily Jones

The holidays have finally arrived! Thanksgiving was a blast, but now it’s time to focus on the winter holidays, such as Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa. Now remember, these holidays aren’t always about the gifts, but giving and receiving presents is pretty exciting. However, some people get overwhelmed when making their lists and buying for friends and family. The following are some gift ideas to make your list the best!

First, let’s start with the girls. This year, a popular trend in the girl world has been cute planners to organize your daily activities. Companies like Lilly Pulitzer and Erin Condren sell adorable agendas! For the makeup lovers, Sephora and Ulta have put together some wonderful gift sets at a discounted price. For the perfect spa night, you can ask for some comfy clothes from PINK and a bath bomb (or two) from Lush.

Next, let’s talk about the boys. Shirts and jackets from Vineyard Vines and Southern Tide are popular among the so-called “frat boys”. For the gaming guys, games from GameStop or BestBuy give them will be great presents. For the sporty kids, clothes or equipment from Academy will make for the perfect gifts. Shoes like LeBrons, Curries, and Jordans are also big hits in the boy world.

Finally, let’s cover the adults in our lives. Whether the gift is for a teacher or a grandparent, it can be hard to identify exactly what kinds of things they are interested in and what they would like as a gift. To start, ask them questions about what they like and don’t like. Once they’ve said what they would like, make a list of stores that have gifts they would like. Then, you can go to the store and pick out the gift that suits them best. Heartfelt gifts are always in style!

Whatever holiday you celebrate, these gifts are sure to make your friends and family happy. Remember that the holiday season is not all about receiving gifts, but also spending time with your family and giving back to the community. Happy Holidays!
