The Pin Oak Company and Crew team had an amazing season this year.  The teams brought home multiple banners this year for their excellent performance at their competitions. Company also was awarded the team academic award due to their outstanding grades with a GPA of about 3.75.

The team’s goals were just to “perform it!”  Ms. Reilly is very impressed with how much the dancers have improved saying “At the beginning of the year, the team struggled with performance and showmanship (really selling the dance to the audience.) Now after the season the dancers have high energy and also perform using facial expressions!”

Company and crew competed at five contests with multiple awards from each, including 1st Place Middle School Soloist, Dance Officer Superior Award, Super Sweepstakes Officers and team, Best in class officer contemporary and lyrical champion, Best in class team Hip Hop champion, 2017 Champion Dance Grand champion, Champions top scoring officer line, Team Judges Award, Middle School State trio winner, and many more.

Ms. Reilly’s goals for next year’s team is to “ maintain the high level of excellence this team has achieved this year not only at the dance contest and through performances, but also in the classroom with maintaining superior grades.”  It is quite obvious that Ms. Reilly is very proud of everyone in company and is ecstatic for next season.
