BOOK REVIEW: WINTER, THE LUNAR CHRONICLES BOOK 4

By: Jenna Sellars

The New York Times bestselling author Marissa Meyer has released the conclusion to the #1 New York Times best-selling series, The Lunar Chronicles.

Winter was a good book overall, but there was one thing that didn’t quite fall into place like the rest of the series: the ending. It felt very rushed. The conflict was resolved, and then there was a really fast ending where everyone’s personal conflicts were resolved in about 15 pages. And even at the very end, there wasn’t really a time skip or anything to let us peek into what our favorite characters would be doing in the future. It just stopped, almost like what would happen with a cliffhanger.

Besides a slightly rushed ending, Winter was really good. There was a lot of high-action scenes and the book itself was very fast-paced and exciting. The characters all had interesting developments and complications that did a good job adding to the storyline. Overall I would give Winter and 8.5 out of 10 for a good storyline and multiple plot twists that kept it interesting.
