EASY BREAKFAST IDEAS

You may not always have time for breakfast, but here are some easy breakfast ideas that you can cook or make the day before to grab on the go.

Yogurt Parfait

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of fat free Greek vanilla yogurt
  • Half a peach
  • ½ cup of granola without raisins
  • ½ cup of fresh berries

Steps

  1. Chop the peach into small pieces.
  2. Layer ½ cup of the vanilla yogurt on a parfait glass. Place some berries and some of the chopped peach pieces.
  3. Add in some of the granola  
  4. Add another layer of yogurt and peaches. Then add granola and some berries.
  5. Ready to eat!

Banana Oatmeal Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • ¼ cup of old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup of complete whole wheat pancake mix

 Steps

  1. Prepare the pancake mix according to its package directions.
  2. Add in the banana and oats,  and stir together
  3. Spray the griddle with a nice coat of cooking spray
  4. Pour the batter by ¼ cups onto the griddle. Flip when bubbles start to form at the top. Cook until the second side is golden brown.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Apple Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • Peanut butter (no nut butter or any type of butter)
  • Chocolate melts
  • Granola or oats

Steps

  1. Cut the apple into wedges.
  2. Place the chocolate candy melts onto a bowl and microwave in 30-60 seconds intervals until they are completely melted
  3. Pour the candy melts into a ziplock bag. Cut a tiny hole at the end of the ziplock bag.
  4. Spread peanut butter or your desired butter onto the apple wedges. Sprinkle some of the oats or granola onto the peanut butter apple wedges.
  5. Drizzle the chocolate on the peanut butter apple wedges. Eat or wrap them with plastic wrap to save these delicious apples for later.

These are some delicious breakfast ideas to make during the week when you don’t have time or make the day before.
